Well it had been happening for months and I have finally decided it is not worth the hassle! Getting in and out of the bath is just too difficult so showers are the way forward. I trust I am not the only one in this predicament?

How I hope that by next winter I can get back into the bath with ease.....

Hi Lisa

I have had to resort to showers too for the last 8 months... however, I have the Occupational therapy people coming in 2 weeks to sort out a bath lift/chair - so I can have a bath again!! I find the bath helps with the pain better than a shower!! - so I'm hoping I can convince them too!

My GP suggested it... so I am hoping. Fortunately we have 2 baths in the house, so I can have one that no one else can use!! BigGrin

I think you'll find there are plenty of people on here in the same predicament!!

Take care

Hi Lisa,

I`m a shower person too - not been able to get into a bath for years now. We had a walk-in shower installed, and I was given a seat for it, and I`m happy with that.

Everyone is different - ra is about adapting and looking at ways of being able to do/get around the things that wouldn't be difficult to do before ra.

Good luck in discovering what works for YOU ThumpUp

I occasionally have a bath in the Summer when I am at my best, but that's a rarity. Showers are my standard option.

I do sometimes kick a tub of conditioner over the drain outlet so I can oak my feet while I'm showering though LOL

We only use the bath when the grandkids stay. It's showers al round otherwise. Cheaper and Greener too.
